5th February, Kashmir Day

Kashmir Day in Pakistan, observed annually on February 5th, is a significant occasion aimed at expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir and advocating for their right to self-determination. Pakistan reaffirms its commitment to the Kashmiri people's struggle for freedom and emphasizes the need for a peaceful resolution in accordance with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

14th March, Culture Day Punjab

Punjabi Culture Day, celebrated on the 14th of March in Pakistan, is a vibrant event that honors the rich heritage and traditions of Punjab. This day is marked with various cultural activities across the cities of Punjab, including folk dancing, singing, poetry recitals, and historical exhibitions.

The event serves multiple purposes. It aims to promote and preserve the unique Punjabi culture, instill cultural values in the younger generation, and boost tourism in Pakistan by showcasing the country’s cultural richness. From music and dance to traditional attire and food, the day offers a colorful display of Punjabi life.

In essence, Punjabi Culture Day is not just a celebration, but a grand display of the cultural diversity and richness that Punjab, and by extension, Pakistan, has to offer to the world.

23rd March, Pakistan Day

Pakistan Day, also known as Yaum-e-Pakistan, Pakistan Resolution Day, or Republic Day, is a national holiday in Pakistan that honours the adoption of the country's first constitution on March 23, 1956, when the Dominion of Pakistan became the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the first Islamic republic in history. The Lahore Resolution, which called for the creation of an independent sovereign state derived from the provinces with Muslim majorities located in the North-West and East of British India (excluding autonomous princely States) was adopted by the Muslim League on March 23, 1940, at the Minar-e-Pakistan (Pakistan Tower). This event is also celebrated on this day.

Every year, the nation observes the day as a public holiday.
